Starting in mid-1991, Shilla Tour was established to anticipate the demands of the travelers in Indonesia seeking a qualified travel agent. Focusing on the incentive tour destination, Shilla Tour established its first office in the Prince Jayakarta, West Jakarta with 5 employees to begin its business. In early 1992, Shilla Tour was appointed as one of the ASITA agents (Association of Indonesian Tour & Travel Agencies). The appointment has brought Shilla Tour to a wider business, so Shilla Tour decided to relocate its office to the city center at the end of the same year. Now Shilla Tour has also been appointed as a member of ASTINDO (Association of Indonesian Air Ticket Sales Agent) and IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators).
After 4 years of building a strong foundation in Jakarta, Shilla Tour opened its first branch in “Paris Van Java” Bandung which was supported by eight employees to reach its business expansion in 1996. Now it has up to 30 staffs to accommodate the tourism industry market in Bandung. Jakarta’s second branch was opened in 2012. It is located in Kota Casablanca, formerly located in Grand Indonesia shopping center (2007-2012). A branch office is not just a regular branch office, but also the center of ‘Golf Tour’ planning to meet the golfer desire to play golf throughout the stunning destination both domestically and internationally; as well as to meet all the needs of their travel. A branch office is reinforced by more than 20 professional employees who dedicate their time even after his general working hours. In 2012, Shilla also opened a third office branch in Bali, to meet the needs of the tourists who want to visit the “Island of the Gods”, the paradise and a vacation spot which has already known to the world.
