Eat Me – Thailand

Opening the doors back in May of 1998, Eat Me has been called a veteran of the Bangkok dining scene, yet we think our restaurant feels as fresh and as alive as ever. Some have put this down to our progressive approach, but we believe a number of factors keep diners coming back again and again.

Head chef Tim Butler, who hails from New York, exhibits genuine creativity in the kitchen, fusing influences from around the world. Dishes are characterised by daring flavour combinations, which showcase a kaleidoscope of international ingredients.

Food & Drinks

Eat Me’s menu fuses influences from around the world, with the owner hailing from Australia and the head chef originally from the USA. Dishes are created starting with top quality products sourced with sustainability in mind and then utilizing years of experience combined with instinct, light seasoning and additional flavours are added. The results are well balanced dishes where the natural flavours are the main feature.

Alaskan scallops with avocado, yuzu and pancetta is one of the most talked about dishes. For sharers, there are large options including Australian wagyu tomahawk that feeds three to four people, and those seeking something different for dessert can try the homemade ice cream and sorbet in varieties such as chestnut rosemary and blueberry mangosteen.

Tucked down a small soi (narrow Thai lane), the restaurant is set on the upper two floors of a former house with indoor and outdoor seating on the balcony surrounded by greenery. On the ground floor you can relax or dine in the cocktail bar and lounge.
